Wolf by Saša Stanišić. Our Premiere at Theater an der Parkaue.

The WOLF is here!

Months of rehearsals. Of finding each other, of growing together, of breathing through it. And then he found himself. Stood on stage. Surprising. Present. Right there. „Wolf", based on the award-winning novel by Saša Stanišić, celebrated its premiere on February 24, 2026 at Theater an der Parkaue. A piece about bullying, silence and the moment that defines who you are. For audiences aged 10 and up. And for everyone who still remembers how it feels.

He took his time. Lay down, was still. Wandered through the Brandenburg forest, leaned against a tree, caught his breath. And then he got up. Found his stride. His gaze. His growl. And suddenly he stood on stage. Surprising. Present. Right there. And we were with him.

That was this process. Intense, constructive, deeply human. And so beautiful.

On February 24, 2026, „Wolf", based on Saša Stanišić's novel awarded the German Youth Literature Prize 2024, celebrated its premiere at Theater an der Parkaue. A piece about bullying, silence and the moment that defines who you are. About summer camp, group dynamics and a wolf that only comes at night. And that stays with you anyway. For audiences aged 10 and up. And for everyone who still remembers how it feels.

What has come back to us since then moves us deeply. Discussions that won't stop. Emotions that hit home. Moments that move, touch, make you think. Reconsider. Do things differently.

Thank you to the entire ensemble for their trust and energy. And thank you to Theater an der Parkaue for the space and the opportunity to make this work.

We are proud of this wolf.
